Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you (“you”, “your”, or “User”) and Ramon Logan Jr. (“we”, “our”, or “us”) and govern your access to and use of the website located at ramonloganjr.com, together with any subdomains, interfaces, APIs, services, integrations, documentation, source artefacts, downloads, and content made available through them (collectively, the “Platform”).
By accessing or using the Platform you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Platform immediately.
We may amend these Terms from time to time. The version published at the URL above, together with the “Effective” date shown in the header, is the operative version. Material changes take effect on the date stated, and continued use of the Platform after that date constitutes acceptance.
Eligibility & responsible use
You may use the Platform only if you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction and are not barred from doing so by any applicable law. The Platform is intended for an adult, professional audience.
You agree to use the Platform in good faith, and you specifically agree not to:
- interfere with, disrupt, probe, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform, its underlying systems, networks, APIs, or third-party integrations;
- scrape, crawl, harvest, mirror, train AI/ML models on, or otherwise extract content from the Platform in a manner that is not consistent with our
robots.txt, rate limits, or these Terms; - use the Platform to transmit malware, viruses, malicious code, or any material intended to damage, surveil, or impair the operation of any system or device;
- impersonate any person or entity, falsify headers, or otherwise misrepresent your identity or affiliation;
- use the Platform in violation of any applicable export-control, sanctions, anti-corruption, anti-money-laundering, privacy, or intellectual-property law;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Platform except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits despite this limitation; or
- use the Platform in any manner that could reasonably be expected to bring us, our clients, or our partners into disrepute.
Intellectual property & ownership
Except for material clearly attributed to a third party, all content, materials, designs, layouts, copy, photography, illustrations, motion, typefaces (as configured), source code, configuration, schema, data structures, prompts, model integrations, build artefacts, downloadable files, and audiovisual works available through the Platform (collectively, the “Platform Materials”) are the exclusive property of Ramon Logan Jr. and are protected by copyright, database, trademark, design-right, and other intellectual-property laws of the United Arab Emirates and other jurisdictions.
All rights are expressly reserved. Nothing on the Platform constitutes, or should be construed as, the grant of any licence to any Platform Material except as set out in the “Permitted use” section below.

Trademarks & branding
The mark Ramon Logan Jr. and all associated logos, wordmarks, monograms, motion treatments, taglines, colour systems, and trade dress are trademarks of Ramon Logan Jr., irrespective of formal registration. Unauthorised use is strictly prohibited and may give rise to civil and criminal liability, including under UAE Federal Decree-Law on Trademarks and equivalent international instruments.
Codebase, APIs, and integrations
Source code, build pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, AI prompts, model configurations, and API endpoints exposed by the Platform are proprietary to us. They are made visible only as necessary for the Platform to function. Public visibility of any artefact (for example, code shipped to the browser) does not constitute a licence to copy, reuse, or redistribute it.
Permitted use & content licence
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to access and view the Platform Materials for lawful personal or professional reference. Any other use, including commercial use, AI/ML training, redistribution, or incorporation into another product, requires our prior written consent.
You may quote brief excerpts of published written content (typically the essays found at /blog) for the purposes of criticism, review, news reporting, or scholarship under applicable fair-use or fair-dealing principles, provided that you give clear attribution and a link back to the source.
If you wish to reproduce, syndicate, translate, or otherwise build on any Platform Material at a scale beyond casual reference, contact hello@ramonloganjr.com to obtain a written licence.
User submissions
Where the Platform permits you to submit content (for example, through the contact form or any future comment, application, or feedback mechanism, each a “User Submission”) you represent and warrant that the submission is your own original work, that you have all necessary rights to provide it, and that it does not infringe the intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any third party.
By making a User Submission you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable, and transferable licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, store, and otherwise process the submission to the extent reasonably required to operate the Platform, respond to your enquiry, deliver any service you have requested, and comply with our legal obligations.
We are under no obligation to receive, review, or respond to any unsolicited User Submission, and we reserve the right to refuse, edit, or remove any submission in our sole discretion.
Third-party services, integrations, and external links
The Platform may contain links to, or integrate with, third-party websites, services, APIs, libraries, fonts, analytics providers, hosting providers, and content delivery networks (collectively, “Third-Party Services”). These are provided for convenience or to deliver the Platform's functionality; their inclusion does not imply endorsement.
We do not control and are not responsible for the content, security, privacy practices, terms, or availability of any Third-Party Service. Your use of any Third-Party Service is governed by the terms and policies of that service, which you should review independently. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim any and all liability arising from or in connection with any Third-Party Service.
AI-generated content & automation
Portions of the Platform may have been created, drafted, edited, or otherwise assisted by artificial-intelligence systems. Where this is the case we use such tools as an aid to human craft, not as a substitute for it: the final published output reflects Ramon Logan Jr.'s editorial judgement.
Any AI-assisted output is provided on an as-is basis. It may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. The presence of AI assistance does not constitute, and should not be relied upon as, professional advice (legal, financial, medical, regulatory, engineering, or otherwise). You are responsible for independently verifying any information before acting on it.
The Platform Materials, including any AI-assisted output, are not made available for use as training data for any external AI/ML model. Operating an automated system to ingest the Platform for the purpose of model training, fine-tuning, or evaluation is expressly prohibited without prior written consent.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Platform and all Platform Materials are provided on an “as is” and“as available” basis, without warranties or conditions of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. We specifically disclaim any and all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, accuracy, completeness, non-infringement, quiet enjoyment, system integration, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
We do not warrant that the Platform will meet your requirements, that defects will be corrected, or that the Platform or the servers on which it is hosted are free of viruses or other harmful components. Use of the Platform is at your sole risk.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will Ramon Logan Jr. or any of their respective principals, contractors, agents, or licensors be liable to you or to any third party for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunity, or anticipated savings, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, statute, or any other legal theory, arising out of or in connection with your access to or use of the Platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Where liability cannot be excluded as a matter of law, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Platform and these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) one hundred United States dollars (US$100) or (b) the total amount you have paid to us (if any) for use of the Platform in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms operates to exclude any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Ramon Logan Jr. and their respective principals, contractors, agents, and licensors from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, proceedings, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with: (i) your use of or access to the Platform; (ii) your violation of these Terms or any applicable law; (iii) your User Submissions; or (iv) your infringement of any intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other right of any third party.
Suspension & termination
We may, at our sole discretion and without notice or liability, suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to all or any part of the Platform if we reasonably believe that you have breached these Terms, that your activity poses a security, legal, reputational, or operational risk, or where required by law.
Sections of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination, including, without limitation, intellectual property, disclaimer of warranties, limitation of liability, indemnification, jurisdiction, and governing law, will survive any termination of your access to the Platform.
Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms, and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The Courts of the Emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or in connection with the Platform or these Terms, save that we retain the right to bring proceedings to protect our intellectual property in any jurisdiction in which infringement is taking place.
For Users resident in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions that grant mandatory consumer rights, nothing in these Terms affects rights you may have under the law of your habitual residence that cannot be excluded by contract.
Miscellaneous
Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us concerning the Platform and supersede any prior agreement on the same subject matter.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of that provision or of any other provision.
Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights or obligations hereunder, in whole or in part, without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms freely, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
