Twelve years of practice across design, engineering, and product, from Solano and Batangas to the Abu Dhabi skyline. I build things slowly enough to know them and ship them quickly enough to learn from real use.
The short version
I'm Ramon Logan Jr., a full-stack engineer and UX strategist living in the United Arab Emirates. I work on web products that need to feel calm, behave reliably, and hold up under real-world traffic, and I tend to do that across the whole stack, from typography to type-safe data models.
Outside of client work, I run four civic-tech projects: Abakada.org, a directory of free & open-source software with learning paths, BetterSolano.org, a transparency platform for my hometown, HIV Care Philippines, a civic health platform for locating DOH-designated HIV treatment hubs, and Kotse.cc, a car loan finance estimator that shows the real cost of vehicle financing before you commit. I am also a Project Maintainer at BetterGov.ph, where I contribute new features, fix bugs, and additionally design infographic materials and manage the organization's online accounts. I apply the same care to these as I do a product brand: token systems, copy voice, accessibility, the lot.

Where I've done the work.
Engineers and ships across 18 production platforms within Arabian Group Holding's portfolio, covering full-stack architecture, feature delivery, and deployment infrastructure. Defines team-wide engineering standards, mentors junior developers, and aligns technical roadmaps with executive stakeholders.
Built internal web portals for ticketing and asset management across a multi-entity UAE conglomerate. Administered the L2/L3 support and enterprise network infrastructure those systems ran on, covering 600+ endpoints, LAN topology, and TCP/IP telephony across sites.
Developed and maintained full-stack codebases and hosting infrastructure for 7 partner sites, covering performance optimization, QA, and server-level SEO configuration. Engineered a barcode inventory system that replaced a manual medical supply tracking process with a fully digital workflow.
